Holiday Butter Board

Entertain in style during the holidays by setting out this attractive butter board adorned with edible flowers and served with crusty, warm bread.


  • Salted butter (room temp)
  • Granola (use your favorite brand or make your own!)
  • Dates (cut into strips)
  • Kumquats (sliced thin)
  • Dried Rose Petals
  • Fresh, Edible Flowers from Duncan Family Farms (we used Duncan Marigold Petals)
  • Black Sesame Seeds
  • Local honey
  • Loaf of Bread


    1. Spread softened, room temp butter onto board
    2. Evenly spread granola and black sesame seeds
    3. Evenly disperse kumquats, dates, rose petals, and marigold petals
    4. Drizzle with honey
    5. Keep in fridge if not serving within the hour, remove from fridge at least 30 mins before serving
    6. Serve with crusty, warm bread
