Rosemary Apple Cider

Kick your traditional apple cider recipe up a notch by adding fresh rosemary and cloves for additional holiday spice!

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 6+ cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole cloves (or pinch of ground cloves)
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Directions

    1. Pour apple cider into large pot, stock pot or large slow cooker
    2. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, into cider. Once simmering, cover and simmer for ~45 mins
    3. Uncover and place lemon slices, cranberries, and rosemary into cider and stew for 10 mins
    4. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, lemon slices and cranberries
    5. Serve warm and enjoy!

    TIPS

    1. You can also use already spiced apple cider and skip step two. Still add a few cinnamon sticks for good measure though!
    2. You can also double the amount of cinnamon sticks depending on preference to strength of flavor.
