Rosemary Apple Cider

Kick your traditional apple cider recipe up a notch by adding fresh rosemary and cloves for additional holiday spice!

  • 1 gallon apple cider

  • 6+ cinnamon sticks

  • 2 whole cloves (or pinch of ground cloves)

  • Pinch of nutmeg

    • Pour apple cider into large pot, stock pot or large slow cooker
    • Place cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, into cider. Once simmering, cover and simmer for ~45 mins
    • Uncover and place lemon slices, cranberries, and rosemary into cider and stew for 10 mins
    • Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, lemon slices and cranberries
    • Serve warm and enjoy!
    • You can also use already spiced apple cider and skip step two. Still add a few cinnamon sticks for good measure though!
    • You can also double the amount of cinnamon sticks depending on preference to strength of flavor.
